Arrival into the Oetztal Valley
The Oetztal starts out 40 km west of Innsbruck in the Inntal Valley. The Oetztal Valley can be accessed most easily via the Inntal motorway (A12). From exit 123 for Oetztal, follow the Oetztal Strasse (B186) on to Umhausen.
Arriving at the Guesthouse Bichl
Just before you come to the end of the Umhausen resort, turn off left and then right onto the Niederthaier Strasse which runs towards the Oetzi village. Follow the road uphill and through the woods on to the Guesthouse Stuibenfall and on to Niederthai. Then at the crossroads in Niederthai, turn left and follow the mountain road on to a small collection of houses. Here, turn right and follow the road on to Bichl.
Arriving by train
Take the train to Innsbruck or Oetztal station. From here, take the bus towards Soelden (4 x daily from Innsbruck, 8 x daily from Oetztal).
Arriving by plane
If you land at Innsbruck airport by plane, you should then take the train on to Oetztal station and from here continue by bus towards Soelden (8 x daily).
